Welcome to CROfest Victoria, a cultural festival staged by the Croatian Cultural Society of Victoria (CCSV). The event showcases Croatia’s food, music, dance, arts, crafts, and sports!
The festival takes place during the first weekend each May at the Croatian Catholic Church hall of St. Leopold Bogdan Mandić located at 4081 Gordon Head Road, Victoria.
The two-day event features:
Authentic Croatian main dishes and desserts such as BBQ lamb and pork, ćevapčiće, fritule, cabbage rolls, and other delicious Croatian cuisine.
Traditional cultural performances from various cultural groups including our own Croatian folklore group Zagreb.
Croatian cultural artifact displays, travel tips, Croatian wine tasting, authentic Croatian olive oil, and Croatian souvenirs.
Children’s entertainment area.
Entertainment throughout the day.
Part of net proceeds are used to support a local charity. In 2019, $1,000 was raised to support the Salvation Army’s youth shelters program for homeless youth or youth at-risk for homelessness.
There’s no need to worry about the weather—all festival activities will take place under huge tents and in the church hall.
ADMISSION IS FREE for the whole community!
